Thread: EIST and BSOD

  1. #1

    Default EIST and BSOD

    setup:
    i3 2100
    gigabyte ga-h67-d2-b3

My system goes BSOD after 30min or less if I enable the EIST and C3/C6.

If I leave them to auto then no bsod, But I doubt its working since naka full 3.1ghz ang system when i detect it using aida64 and cpu-z.

normal bani? anyone using an i3 2100 experiencing the same bsod.

set it to AUTO in bios, set power management to BALANCED, load up latest cpu-z and let ur pc idle(w/o any other appz in the background)

Yeah, auto resolves this issue instead of enabled. Probably a microcode bug in the bios.

    EDIT:

I believe this is a common issue for Gigabyte boards, I can use C3/C6 while overclocking if I set it to auto instead of enabled.
