    Default [Help] Hard Disk Problem

    Hi,
I have a problem with my Hard Disk (Drive D), Whenever I transfer files from my Drive D to Drive C or "C to D", it would take like 15 min and its just a 90mb file,
and also when I play a video file in my Drive D, desktop goes super lag, same also when transferring files.
But when I play files from my Drive C, there is no lag

    Things I did(and none worked)
    1. Defraged both C and D
    2. Formatted my Drive D (things went fine from playing videos and transferring files, but after a few hours, Problems came back, the lag issues)
    3. Scanned for virus, none

    Assumptions:
    1. My Drive C. is fine
    2. Something wrong with my Drive D:
    3. No virus or my virus scanner cant detect(Microsoft Essential)
    4. I still think its a Hard Disk problem

Can someone help me fix my problem, a tip or advice? thnx ^^

My Drive D and C are not partitioned from 1 Hard Disk, they are 2 different hard disks.

Have you check it's cables connected to the motherboard? try switching the cable from the first hard disk(Drive C) to your second(drive d). If your Drive c slows down then maybe you should replace your cables.

try to download ang install teracopy. then try to transfer files using that software. also try to go near in your hard drive and try to hear if there is a ticking sound. in addition to that may i ask how long have you been using that harddrive? SATA or IDE?

    @ explode:
No ticking sound, I've been using it for 7 years, its an ATA

    @werty:
    Drive C:
    Disk Health:"low" red
    Performance: "good" green
    Temp: "38 c" green
    Free space: "13%"' red
It says my C: is critical, im assuming its because of the "less free space"

    Drive D:
All is good except for temp: "53 c" yellow

Its claiming my D: is healthy xD, but its not....

post individual smart status, not the overall status.. but seeing Drive C in low-health looks to me daghan na bad sectors or daghan na smart errors
