this is just a suggestion.

control of number of post per forum section for newly registered users for their first 10 days..
like 5 post persecton on their first 5 days then 10 sa next 5 then open na...

5 post per section would still make them junior member in a day...

try 5 posts (anywhere) a day within 5 days... if you really wanna limit them.

and but that would segregate decent and patient posters from those spamming or short tempered clones...

specially those Russian spam ads that are selling ******s...

I always see them around.. it's like they're following me every thread I enter.. lol

I don't think this is a good idea, what if naa sila sa thread nga mag tinubagay ug ideas, unya kay newbies sila, 5 ra taman ilang reply? bati kaayo.

hmmm... typical clone moves mani...

the answer is... they can always go back the next 24 hours for more... anyway the post will not evaporate if he/she wants to reply the next day. that is if that post doesn't commit any violation.

IMO, this is not a good idea. You can see good topics anywhere on the forum that were buried down and newbies are not merely responsible to that. So why limiting newbies? Let them enjoy posting as long as they abide the rules. Control measure has been implemented to not let them fast track becoming a junior member unless they join interactively on all boards except on Buy/Sell and Humor boards.

Seen some OT? Report. Seen some needless bumping? Report. If you want those good topics to be discussed again, then reply to it.

I agree with cliff, let them enjoy posting... not all newbies are spammers... we all started as newbies.. and Beor is forever newbie..
