How To Reduce High Latency When Pinging a Connection?

pls do share your technique or should i say skills in networking.. .^_^
i have this lil problem that when i ping a connection..somewhere in robinson cebu area from mandaue. the latency is very high that there are times the device will cause hang up...and we keep on restarting it to resume the stable connectivity of the device.

any insights would be greatly appreciating... .^_^

don't bottle neck your gateway device. buy expensive device.

minimize the number of routers your computer will run through on both ends...
if you are using routers after the isp modems... then ask the isp to bridge the modems...

Daghan man gud na og factors ngano taas imo latency... these are some issues or factors that can contribute to high latency:

- different service providers
- internet plans (both ends)
- noisy PL (physical lines) from CO
- virus
- configuration of equipments and a lot lot lot more
