Comp suddenly shuts down

hi all, need help here...

for sometime now, while playing dmc4, ang ako comp mukalit ug shut-down or mag-sleep. dili kanang diritso off but mura siya ug na-click nimo ang shutdown button sa start menu nga mag close niya tanan existing program and view dayun nga windows is shutting down. i dont know if sa games but while ga-play ko ug black ops, nag sleep pud siya nga ang monitor just dont get signal anymore and cge lang try ug find input signal. when i press ang ON button sa cpu, mubalik ra sad siya sa normal window screen.

i am suspecting my keyboard to be problematic kay basin naay key combinations ma-press as dmc4 is keyboard intensive. but i already turned-off ang auto shutdowns, sticky keys, power options, etc etc etc..

CPU: i7 950
RAM: GSkill 3x2GB ddr2000 @ ddr 1600
HDD: Samsung 250GB sata
VGA: 2 x HD6850
COOLING: Larkooler for VGA and CPU
FANS: 120mm front and back
KB: CDR-King Wireless (help me tell my wife i have to replace this, nyahaha)

Brod I also suspect about your keyboard is the issue...

Btw, did you tried using other keyboard to see if it occurs again? let me know...

PSU is Corsair HX750 sir...

la pa ko ka-try another KB sir, will try tonight...

could be malware or virus?
while playing DMC4 ra jud bai or tanan games/apps?

@ isaacrobot, sa dmc4 mag shutdown gyud siya. sa other games, sleep mode lng.

i decided to try new keyboard, will update all tonight. i will check malware/virus also tonight bai, im using freeware lng raba.

basin pwede ra pud nko e apil ning issue sa ako isa k computer nga gi ayo ky may kalabotan mn sd sa kalit mo shutdown... this one ky murag nka timer ang behaviour..

Mobo: Asus P4S800-MX
Proc: Pentium 4 530 with HT 3.0GHz 800Mhz Bus
Memory: i have used 4 different brand with the same bandwith DDR400
Video: i used built-in and another extra DDR 128mb
PSU: i have tried using 300W and 500W types

ani ang behaviour.. pinaka una nko buhaton gyd is mag Clear CMOS.. then install tanan pisa nga needed pra mo andar. what happens is that... sa first instance, mka kita p ka sa BIOS Setup page for 2 or 3 secs... then boom... mo off diretso. 2nd time e on nko... mo andar siya but mo off na sad dayon not enough time pra mka kita ko sa display. pero klaro mn nga mka p andar siya sa monitor though kulang lng ang oras for the monitor to power up. 3rd try nko e on... wala n gyd.. split second nlng.. off daun.

mo off siya pero dili totally shut off jd... nka SOFT OFF lng ang status meaning naay standby power ang mobo.. mag lisod ko ug flash sa BIOS ky lagi di nko ma apas ug load ky mo off ra diretso. out of curiousity lng and sa akong mga diagnosis ani, ako gi suwayan ug gamit kanang defective nga procie (compatible still), surprisingly stable ang power sa mobo... ga andar gyd.. dili siya mo off pero walay POST ky of course guba mn nga procie ako gigamit.

having this situation.... is this a BIOS prob? or Kaning 2 k procie nga nagamit ani nga mobo ky corrupted or naay virus, code, trigger, etc nga naa sa memory?

im using another keyboard now, played dmc4 for like 2hours straight just to test it. wala na so far. i guess i learned my lesson the hard way, CDR King products are nothing but junk! some key combinations or constant hammering on the keyboard sends a shutdown/sleep signal to my computer.

@ esprugodoys, seems u have bad mobo...
