WIN7 pro wont update

Guys! anyone experience w/ win7pro32bit oem asia-pacific region. on which i was so surprised it wont update error code 8024402f in my asus1215t The microsoft team and local tech guy wasnt able to solved it. sadly i return and replace it w/ home(southeast region) nlang bec im afraid it wnt.Maybe(wild guest) its the region that block the server. just wonder why microsoft was not able to trace it. there are plenty in cebu-malls that are asia-pacific region, so anyone had this with no problem updating?
