First the media - that's what they get paid to do anyway. They need to continually provide you the general public with something of interest and where there's smoke there's fire that's where they're at too.

The Government - lies for good reasons.

They're both liars depending on their agendas.

Media, though bound with the Media ethics are likewise obligated to present what the Government provides them... But Media tends to exaggerate..
