    Default Legal Advice Councel

    Hi lawyers and experienced businessmen,

I have manpower agency, this morning I received a letter from Dept of Labor/Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board that my agency is paying my employees under the minimum wage (which is really true). The letter title is "NOTICE OF HEARING" They want me to report to Atty. _______ and stated that "FAILURE TO APPEAR IS CONSIDERED A WAIVER"

Please Help, what should I do.

Get a lawyer, appear before the labor officer, and please start paying the proper wages.

get a lawyer, and why would you open a manpower agency and pay the people less than the minuimum wage??

  6. #6
actually you dont need a lawyer.. just close your manpower agency if you cant pay the proper wages..

  7. #7
just pay those people the exact wager so that both parties will have no problem....

Paying your employees below the minimum wage is not really helping them. Worse, it is the modern form of SLAVERY, wherein you just pay your employees enough so that they can eat, sleep, and have pamlete back and forth going to their respective place of work.
