    Default Resizing Partion and file system in Linux


    Mga gurus need ur help. Is it possible to resize ur linux partition and file system just like in FAT32/NTFS without corrupting the boot system?
    Please badly needed ur ideas or if ever naa application to resize it. Ive already tried a couple but to no avail. Ma corrupt man gud ang iya system. dili na mo boot.

    sa Linux na, its avaiable when using the LIVE install but lisud lisud na bai kay pangitaon kaayo asa dapit ang guba nga angay nimo likayan.

    You can also try RescueDisk CD.. its an open source software.

    gparted ok kaayo.

    suwayi kuno ug boot sa live cd nya tanawa kung naa pay files ang iyang root partition basig ang boot loader ray kinahanglan i install ug usab ana. pero kung wala na gyud iyang files i format nalang ug sakto iyang partition size.

    nksuway q ani sauna akong gresize ang partition then wa na ni boot akong ubuntu.. try nlng repartion then clean install.. hehehe.... di pareha sa win 7 ba nga pwede ra pirmi resize ang partition without affecting any files..

    Gparted but defragment your hard drive before resizing.

    Linux's native filesystems are all far more resistant to fragmentation than are Windows filesystems. Therefore, most Linux users don't bother defragmenting their disks.
