    Probably both.

Try sab kuno check imong client kung wala ba na-block ang nfs port?

To check use netstat or telnet.

Sa ako mo balik ra man connection bisan ma restart ang server, mo auto mount ra man siya, gamit nako pag configure kay Yast kay Suse Linux akong gi gamit. Peru wala nako gi configure as read and write ang nfs server, check lang file permission ug enable rw sa nfs server ug mao ni imo gusto. Sulayi lang ang suggestion ni eax.

I no longer use NFS because it locks up the system, especially on FreeBSD, if your server goes down. It's also not secure and the permissions are messed up when they are mounted on your system.

I find that sshfs-fuse is a better alternative. As I work on a heterogeneous environment, this works on all operating systems as long as SSH is present (haven't tried this with Windows though).

    Why not use SAMBA.
Windows client compatible and mountable in linux as a filesystem using smbfs.
