Now showing at some little corner of a theater (SM Cinema 6) is this gem of a movie titled "Honey".
"Honey" (Bille Woodruff) is a feel-good, against-all-odds movie about MTV choreographer Honey Daniels --- battling her way to the hearts of Harlem youth. It is a movie worthy of all neon marquee except that it is lost in the cacophony of both "Kingdom of Heaven" (Ridley Scott) and "Revenge of the Sith" (George Lucas).
Jessica Alba here, as Honey Daniels, would bring you grooving and butt-swaying with hip-hop music, even black metal, until you cheered for her for all the sweat, blood and tears. That black beauty Mikhel Pfifer also starred.
First class cinematography is by John Leonetti, ASC.
