Default i need help regarding my cpu assembly

    processor: Intel Core i7 950 1366

    motherboard: Intel dX58so motherboard

    videocard: inno3d gtx460 oc 1gb

    my question is regarding the:
    1. RAM memory
    2. Power Supply

    1. for the RAM memory, what is the DIFFERENCE between those high priced RAM brands like the Patriot against those affordable RAMs like the Kingston. cause i didnt bought any RAMs yet.

    2. and for the Power supply, i have an AC Bell 650w for my past CPU assembly, and my question is does this power supply applicable for these items i have listed above? or do i need to change another PS? thanks guys. more power

High priced RAMs have tighter timings, good quality chips embedded, meaning overclockable hehehe

if you want to overclock the RAMs for faster application loading or faster execution of programs, buy the high end RAMs (You get what you paid for)

    GeForce GTX 460

On your average system the card requires you to have a 500 Watt power supply unit.

    GeForce GTX 460 in SLI

A second card requires you to add another ~200 Watts. You need a 700 Watt power supply unit.

ok, so does my Power Supply ACbel 650w OK for my processor, mobo, and v.card listed above?
or do i need to change it to be safe?

and for the RAMs sir basically im not into overclocking cz i dont know those stuffs..for me is just buying those high end parts to play my games at high end resolutions, so are the high and low priced rams performs the same/different without overclocking them? and what will u recommend me in buying?thanks a lot

more than enough ra imo psu for that setup... even if you overclock 4.0Ghz+ on ur cpu...
for ram just get 1600Mhz and look for low CAS timings. i prefer rams with heat spreaders since it looks cool and dissipates heat. but since ur not OC you dont really need tall heat spreaders.
There are a lot of RAM manufacturers out there. some of what i recommend: kingston, G.skill. corsair, patriot, A-data, mushkin, cruxial... im sure there are others pa...

yeah confused jd ko sa rams bro if im going to buy the affordable kingston 2gb x3 or sa Patriot viper series kit 2gb x3 which is iyang features applied jd sa processor ug mobo nako which says:

XMP Ready for Core i7 Processors
Tested and compatible with Intel X58 Express Chipsets

and ilang prices layu kaau gap... kingston x3 abot mga 6k+ then ang Patriot 3x mu abot 11k. Big price difference.. same ra ba ni cla ug performance in regards sa gaming lang, not on the OC part. thanks

^^ the performance of RAMS is ilang frequency and latencies. awa which has higher frequencies and lower latencies. if pariha ra then it's up to u which to pick.
since dili ko mo overclock, choose frequencies at 1600Mhz lang. going over 1600Mhz required you to OC your Bclk. You won't need to have higher than that. just choose those having XMP profiles lang so that getting ur RAM to spec is easier.

ok ra siguro imong PSU sir, and for the RAM, kung di ka gusto mag usab sa timings buy the kingston na lang, mostly high performance RAMs man gud you need to set it manually sa iyang mga TIMINGS ug memory voltage sa BIOS, usually dili auto detect, plug and play tu-od pero di mao ang manufacturer`s advertised performance, pero kung i-benchmark ang Value RAM sa High Performance RAM medyo layo2x gyud ang deperensya, let`s say kingston, naa man say high performance RAMs sa kingston, kung i-compare nimo ilang high performance RAM ug ilang Value RAM lahi ra ang presyo, lahi sad ang performance, lahi sad ang mga memory chips nga gipanggamit, Some stutters sa duwa usahay sa RAM pud mag gikan sir, maski 16GB pa na imong RAM basta hinay ug latency,

Noticeable ra ang paspas nga ram sa mga synthetic memory benchmarks, but when it comes to real-time gaming, no difference at all.

    1. timings and quality sir. for standard user, normal timings will do sa imo setup, just find something thats rated 1600mhz at least.

    2. power supply is enough, provided it was made to provide 20+4 atx power and atleast 6/6+2 pcie power connector. check nalang pila total wattage sa 12V+ for a general overview, if its multi-rail, dapat 16Amps or higher each rail, if its single rail atleast 26A will do...
