Hey guys, it's me again with my newly built system.
If you may have read somewhere, I have an ASUS P7P55D right now. Right now, my build is as follows:
-Asus P7P55D
-Mushkin Essentials 2GB DDR3 1066mhz
-Intel Core i3-530
-Gigabyte Odin Pro 550w
Here's my problem. With that current system, it crashes almost anywhere and anytime especially a few minutes after booting. I tried using a different memory (Patriot Sector 5) and I say that the board is not the one that is causing a lot of problems lately. I also tried using the Mushkin memory into a different unit and the system crashes. There's the MemOK feature from ASUS that helps you with your memory compatibility troubles however it hasn't been able to solve stuff.
So I'm thinking about junking the memory, send it to the distributor for repair. But before I send it back, I think I'm missing something here or there could still be a way to get these parts working together without failing.
I'm not fond about setting up the correct settings for the memory to get things working up. I think this is the one that I'm missing at. Could someone give inputs about this, or should I just forget about the memory and find a different one? I have an upcoming Kingston memory but I'm still about to test it. Budget is pretty tight here and what I'm only aiming at here is to have a working system for work.
