bro just a heads up. Pretty much the only thing you can upgrade on laptops is memory (RAM) and hard disk (hdd).
in terms of performance, RAM is the only real performance benefit between the two. How much performance a RAM upgrade you get in conjunction with your cpu is the question because that's a pretty old cpu u have.

aw, tigumi nalang na bro, palit bag-o if makaya..

Determine bro pila ka ram slot naa sa imo laptop. If mao ra na imo buhaton, research and docs. then another stick of ram will do miracles.

@ morcego, binasa ko detailed specs muna coz di ko talaga maintindihan what you wrote, hehe. i found yung iba na features are correct, like yung keyboard, battery, usb and audio ports, monitor size, etc, so i believe sakto na na, and it is an ibm thinkpad g40 and the referred site is lenovo (lenovo bought ibm, di ba?)

ok, so what do i do next?

    tnx pa din. . .

Mag palit nalang ka ug two ka memory 512mb na ddr. Abi nako karaan najud kaayo imu laptop. Napa may baligya ani.

Memory pa lang makita na nimu daku ug difference.

Kung daghan kaayo ka ug mga files magupgrade ka ug hd(hardisk)

Bisan 80 or 120gig lang ok nana..

memory and hard drive na lang but i think it's not worth it na because if you are going to upgrade both the cost of those 2 upgrades are around half of what is the cost of a new atom netbook.
