Mga brad share nako unsaun pag on sa 3gig switch sa windows 7. this can help maximize virtual memory alotment sa 32 bit OS regardless how much physical RAM you have.


1. Run cmd.exe as administrator
2. type " BCDEDIT.exe /set increaseuserva 3072 (ayaw apila ang ")
3. hit enter
4. you are done.

basically, 32 bit machines only have 4gig memory by default, 2gig sys and 2 gig user. 3 gig switch will increase this 2gig user to 3 gig.

just in case naa pa sa inyo wa naka gamit ani. gamit kaayo sa mga bug-at nga games

yes brad pwede sa xp pero dili in ana ang paagi, imong i edit ang imong boot.ini file. medjo complicated ang process ug sensitive. like this.

kanang una naka on ang switch ana ang ubos maoy default off. inig on nimo sa imo PC maka pili ka unsa ang imo gusto gamiton on or off ba.

take note sa xp rani ang vista ug win7 is kato una nga post.

basically all 32 bit systems only have 4gig memory to work with, 2gig sa system ug 2 gig sa user. this tweak makes it 1 gig for the system and 3 gig for the user. daghan article sa net mga brad to learn more, been using this switch for 3 years now from XP ---->vista--------> and Win7

mao rani sa paging file dba? Kai ako style partition ko sa hdisk og 2.5* sa size sa ram then mao ako himoun virtual memory. Mao rani concept sir? Angay ra cguro ni ako style sa gagmay og ram...hehe

example;

2gig ra imong RAM, we all know na tnan nato ginabuhat sa PC is loaded sa RAM. now what if dghan na kaayo kag gi open, like open kag high end games, open pa gyud kag video editing tapos open pa gyud kag fotoshop, lets sy ni abot nga 1.8 gig tanan apps tapos gusto pa gyud ka mag Far cry. ig open nimo sa far cry ma low memory naka, this is where page file comes in, i move na sa system katong prevoiusly opened apps memory ( fotoshop, games etc) sa imong hard disk and will be called pagefile saved in a "virtual memory" which is a virtual place in your hard disk para di naka ma low memory. kining 3 gig switch instead 2gig lang available as virtual memory himuon nyang 3gig.

yes sir I agree katong ga tipid ug RAM nga nangambisyon ug high end games sama nako hehe (2gig lng twn) i on nlng ang switch. pero bisan pag 4 gig ang inyo RAM unya gahi sad kaayo ang gina duwa na games posible sad ma low memory madugay
