External Drive Problem

Help all,

We have external drive for filing it connected to the server this operate 24/7. the problem now it will not be detected sometimes we need to unplug it ang plug it again so it can be read. and the folder can be view but the content inside cannot it empty. we need to unplug ang plug it again so we can open content inside the folder. does anyone know what it this problem? what shall we do to minimize to prevent this problem to be happen again.

give ur xharddrive a rest pud...
naa nay mga corrupt files or folders sa inyo drive bro. just plug it on the other available usb port nya try to run disk scan or chkdsk.. it will ussually help. then run virus scan to see if their are any malware that is causing the prob f chkdsk didnt find any.
