bad company 2 having artifacts

good day,

diri lang nako ni gi post coz related man ni sa hardware ako pangutana.

bago lang ko upgrade ug ati 5850 nya naka bantay ko daghan kaayo artifacts ang bad company 2 nga game. naka experience ba mo ani? its freaking me out kay hadlok ko defective ako 5850 pero sa ako na obserbahan, other games wala raman mga artifacts.

i hope the cause is just the game, and not my hardware.

I am having artifacts in GTX 260 SLI, GTX 260 Single GPU, GTX 285 Single GPU as well. All I did was downclock a bit using EVGA precision (20 mhz decrements and test play 1 round until the artifacts disappear), then set the DirectX version to 9. You are using a DirectX 11 capable GPU, try 9 first then 10 and finally 11. If mo artifact downgrade the DirectX version nalang in the settings.ini file (see below). Nothing we can do, it's the game pushing your card to the very limit.

GTX 260 at 650mhz clock speed (Linked) - OK, anything more = artifucts galore!!!
GTX 285 at 740mhz clock speed (Linked) - OK, anything more = more artifucts!!!

Play in medium settings, disable HBAO. I hope it fixes the artifacting

Look in C:\Users\Your_Name\My Documents\BF2BC for a file called settings.ini and search for DirectXVersion, this value must be Auto so set it to 9,10,or 11 for testing.

Don't worry its not your hardware, its the game itself. Apparently we are the testers of their patches.

thanks bro, ill try it out. naka try pudko ato gi suggest sa uban nga bloom-false. pero wa epek gyapon. hopefully mu work na ni pag try nako sa imo suggestion.

apil pd ko naka experience ana.. in both my VC's.. pero minor ra... I played it in my 9600GT and 4850.. naa jud xa minor artifacts.. i think there's a patch for that..

btw sa game na cya sagdi lng na! if ever sa gpu na nmo pwde man cguro na nmo pa e balik naa man guro nai warranty.

ok ra na.... i experience that too sa akong HD5770 sa una.. bad company still needs optimization.

bugs have always been a problem with microsoft games.. since EA is now owned by them, the same thing applies.. tungod na sa ilng pinaspasay para maka apas sa release date...
