Gentlemen!

Long time fans of the Battlefield series, Disgruntled PC Gamers of MW2 and Pirates(screw you tbh, but OK ), Rejoice! As this upcoming March 2, 2010, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be out in the stores and everyone will be happy once again. Well everyone may be happy before that date because more likely you're gonna be busy playing Bioshock 2 Multiplayer but hey, where the fun is at?

Alright, enough with the gay intro. I'm really looking forward into this game. It's gonna be out this March 2, 2010 and we all hope to have good servers and pings around SE Asia. Fragnetics will surely have BF:BC2 as server rentals though.

For now, here's the details I can share to you with the game when its out:

-Dedicated Servers (DEATH TO ALL THOSE WHO SAY PC GAMING IS DEAD. Because if PC Gaming is dead, I am a necrophiliac)
-Private Dedicated Server Files won't be released.
-Priced at $49.99 on Steam. Pre-order now and you get to play the beta EARLY this February 4.
-Limited Edition still has no details for us here in the Philippines. Price is still a question. I just hope we get cheaper BF:BC2 copies here
-No CONSOLE. But then at least we may possibly have PunkBuster and a kick function to boot lame-ass people. Dunno how RCON would work without a console
-Single Player is available but where the fun really is at anyways? Multiplayer right?

Bad Company has been my favorite shooter since the first ... more than Modern Warfare. Dedicated servers are irrelevant ... and most of you will probably only have one choice to get your dedicated servers ... Singapore. This isn't a nod to PC gaming ... it's a compromise. People golf clap about how BC will have dedicated servers when in reality, it's just a bone to appease the horde and in the end, EA still has the say on who hosts servers and how those servers are run.

Vern, on PS3 and in PC?

If you have tried it on PC, do you have any FPS drop with HBAO on? I heard you have a 2xGTX295 and I'd like to know the output of it.

PS3, 360 and PC. PC worked fine I guess. Didn't spend much time with it. I'm going to play this on the 360 when it goes retail, not the 360. The 360 community is a lot larger. I'm not even going to bother with the PC at that point. It's beta, so they'll work out the kinks by the time it hits retail or in succeeding patches.
