    Default Warranty Question

Can I claim warranty for an item without the receipt and using only the warranty card with my name/date of purchase/serial number in it?

Consumer ACT of the Philippines states:
    (4) Enforcement of warranty or guarantee. - The warranty rights can be enforced by presentment of a claim. To this end, the purchaser needs only to present to the immediate seller either the warranty card or the official receipt along with the product to be serviced or returned to the immediate seller. No other documentary requirement shall be demanded from the purchaser. If the immediate seller is the manufacturer's factory or showroom, the warranty shall immediately be honored. If the product was purchased from a distributor, the distributor shall likewise immediately honor the warranty. In the case of a retailer other than the distributor, the former shall take responsibility without cost to the buyer of presenting the warranty claim to the distributor in the consumer's behalf.

Murag lisod ka ana doh kay ang receipt man gud mao na proof of purchased so if wala na I think THANK YOU na imong item if ever maguba. Suway pud ko ana doh di jud sila mo grant ana even you ask sa DTI dili gihapon.

Pangitaa lang doh ang receipt basin ma kit-an pa diay.

    depende sa store.

if naa database ang store like GIC..

no need.just show ur face and the item.

    tried it and its fine..

    worst scenario

u buy from buy and sell section.2nd hand
with warranty. nawa nimo ang receipt.

    pa warranty ka..

    tabla ur item

Based from my experience sa Japan stores, they will not entertain warranty on your product but instead you have to contact the manufacturer of the product then have the defective product ship to them. Ang nakanindot man gd sa Japan or US kay tua jd dd2 ang manufacturer unlike here in Phils na maihap ra. Usually mga distributors nalang ang naa diri.
