Unsa kahay cause anang blown capacitor?
Karon palang gyud ko naka sulay nga nag assemble og computer nga pag taudtaud og andar ni kalit lang og buto ang capacitor niya. asus pk5pl-am se ang mobo. naa man unta siya mga stand-off screw kay nag upgrade lang man mi. unsa kaha possible cause?

@TS: As in new assembled rig, new jud tanan ug mobo? nya ni kalit buto capacitors? naa mangud factory defects bro di jud na nato matag-an. Some PC Store mo dawat if ni buto ang capacitors pero sa PCX di daw sila mo dawat coz they said negligence daw na sa owner. For me di jud na angay ing ana coz I talked to some manufacturer's feedback about warranties they said blown capacitors is also included sa warranty daw.

@TS: I uli na doh diin na nimo gi palit and they are obligate to replace that mobo as long as warranty pana.

For Bulging ang cause ana kay heat ug unstable onboard voltage regulators. pero kanang ni boto jud dayun kay over voltage na.
regulators like mosfet kay guba or not functioning well.

Mas maau ana bro e uli na bro kay under warranty man jud na sa manufacturer.

so many factors to consider. first is your PSU, not giving enough or giving too much power to the board causing the mosfets & capacitors to malfunction.

@dmelsie: Bro I talked to ASUS before about blown capacitors from mobo they said vendor or supplier are obligate to replace the mobo jud. My opinion, di mana negligence sa owner ngano ni burot ang capacitor kundi sa quality na sa capacitor gi provide sa manufacturer so then the vendor or supplier should replace that.

@TS: Anyway contact your vendor for warranty or replacement.

wrong orientation (electrolytic), wrong specs & aging (causes deterioration in cap specs).. reason pod na for blown caps.

@dmelsie, what if proven nga wrong ang orientation sa capacitor bro? first usage pa gyud to, sala bana sa user?..
