Default Don't you think it's an effective plot against crime?!

I was thinking that maybe, just maybe one way to lower the crime rates is to have our local government post in each barangays the faces of the most wanted criminals on the loose so people will be aware and that those criminals will not be out running freely on the streets waiting for their preys.

those tarpaulins should be placed in the busiest place of each barangays. not sure if effective ba ni pero i think dili ka gara ang mga criminal kay kaila ang mga tao nila ug ang mga future criminals mahadlok mohimo ug krimen kay dili sila ganahan ma 'facebook' hehehe...

OMG, we would be knee-deep in wanted signs. Can you imagine what a visitor would think passing through town?

most if not all criminals are known in their respective places...the problem is, people are scared of them coz the bad guys might come back for them if they tell them off. ive heard alot of stories of people getting harassed, held up, beaten but wala jud nitabang kay mahadlok mabawsan. they just go on with their lives as if nothing's happening.

and putting their faces in tarps is not likely going to solve any problem. what would happen instead is that it will be a venue for corrupt officials to steal from the people. overpricing is one... and then SOPs to officials.

How about an anonymous (and free) automated tip-off phone number where you can secretly text the location of a known villain to the local police station? Also posting photos on a sheet inside pawn shops, that way many will see them without making the town look a haven for fugitives.

If we have then it is inadequately promoted or people do not trust the promise of anonymity.
