Loud noisy barking. heelp!

ei pips! my dog is very noisy at times, especially if i put him in his cage.(although i very seldom put him in his cage). is there a way to control dog barking?

he is not used to staying in a cage, that's why he barks like crazy- "lemme outta here, lemme outta here!!!"

all dogs will bark. the only way to completely cure his barking is to surgically remove his voice box which frankly, i think is inhumane.
just get him used to staying in a cage. put him in a few minutes a day, gradually increasing his caged stay to an hour or so after a week or two. he will gradually become accustomed to being caged and will eventually stop complaining.

give it a good training, tell him to STOP with an angry stare so that he understand you want hi to stop. It will work after a while. patience...patience. it works for me. got 2 rotties and a dal. :mrgreen:

oki, but i dont think its gonna be easy.. lab man gud cya. he's got a strong outgoing personality which is hard control.

Given the reason that it's all bark and no bite, it's natural for them to do that. Pero kung sobra na gani, pila ra man pagbunal... hehe. Bitaw oi, ayaw sad, because i dont do that.

IF ing-ana gani, as what I've observed, hiniktan or walay gawas2x mao cge paghut. You should at least play with him/her, scratch his/her ears or give him/her some pampering. They all want attention... and u should give it to them.

hehe mao sad na sa amu saba kaayu ang mga dogs... labi na ako pitt grabe.. maybe because dogs are naturally patagad maung dapat gyud sila tagdon... but dnt spoil lang sad kai basin mu backfire mu samot hinoon ....

we bought a bark collar, one that gives the dog a low electric shock or jolt. our next door neighbor was complaining about my puppy's barking. i couldnt blame my neighbor as my pup went into a braking spree that lasted for like 5 to 10 minutes i think. HAH! i was kinda apprehensive about using the "COLLAR". fortunately it worked with my 11 month old german shepherd puppy who's name is LANA. if you can find the kind of collar that am talking about, try it. it might work with your dog too.
