    Default Asus P5VD1-X Question

Bought this last June 2006... I know it's kinda old, but I don't really care that much 'cause I'm not much of a gamer. I only use it to make websites, movies, downloads, music and stuff.

Here's my board: ASUS P5VD1-X Motherboard - Product details and features - DealTime

Here's my question... I have 2 sticks of 512MB's (DDR400) on the 2 blue slots. I was planning on buying a 1GB stick, modagan pa ba gihapon ako PC?

I'm confused 'cause the day I bought this board at PCX Jones, the sales guy over there told me that I should put equal RAMs on both channels. Last Wednesday, I went to Gaisano-Interpace Banilad to swap my worst graphics card ever, Inno3D 9600GT with Force3D HD4670 and asked the sales guy if I could add 1 stick on my board and will still run smoothly, and he said YES.

I would appreciate all your answers. Thank you.
