after cut and paste = access denied. PLS HELP???

hi guys... i dunno if this is the right thread to ask... wala ko khblo asa dapit ang software inquiries i-post.

i noticed this problem after i cut and pasted a group of files from one folder to another in my hdd... when i tried to open/view it (using all kinds of software) it will say access denied... i cannot view, access, copy or even delete this file andthis thing never happened before as far as i remember... i think after nka download cgro ko og windows xp home sp3 ni start ni cya.

if mag copy and paste, okay raman... nothing wrong with the files.

i tried going into safe mode and still the same, those files that i cut and pasted cannot be accessed UNTIL i mess around with the permissions in the properties > securities na setting.. and even then, murag chamba2x ra na ma change nako...

weird kaayo because if in not safe mode, i let's say, i can view/access folder A but but not some of folder B's files. but if nag safe mode nako... it seems like all the new folders i made after i downloaded SP3, dili ko ka access... i have to tweak the security permission settings.

unsa man jd d i dapat sa permissions settings? everyone? or i have to add individually the different users (naa rakoy 2 users and both have admin settings)? i tried changing the settings sa whole drive C and applying it to the folders, subfolders and files under it but when i went back kanina to the normal mode, kadtong mga files na ako gi cut and paste gikan, same ramna ghapon..access denied... altho na "unlock" nako 2 of them...

now i'm not really sure what to do or how to go about, considering unta ako naman gi apply sa whole drive c (where the files and folders are located) ang permission access to everyone, administrator and the 2 other users, but murag walay effect raman.

other pertinent details:

OS : windows xp home edition, licensed, latest d/l of SP3
AV : kaspersky internet security 2009 (pero na blocked)

If you don't like the latest feature of you SP3 pwedi rana nimo e uninstall.

Start -> Control Pannel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Check Show Updates

access denied... altho na "unlock" nako 2 of them...

what do you mean by that word unlock?? do you mean nga nigamit ka ug software nga unlocker? If so, gamit pud ni siya.. pang remove,transfer, kill ug process nga mga files labi na sa imong situation karun

or basin naa naka na open ato sa mga files mao dli ma copy? not sure..

^ yup, when i went back to the normal mode after messing around with the very confusing permissions (which i applied to all the files and folders sa drive c, when i checked the files na kadto dili nko ma view, i can view 2 of them na..or make that ra... confusing lagi cya coz i don't understand why only 2 out of 10 ra na files na uli-an when i applied the change of permissions (tanan names na users gi himo nko mka access, edit, save, etc, etc sa files)

gamit ug file scavenger...... or other relative app..... back-up... reformat.... and kung daghan mugamit sa pc... and gusto tanan admin account... secure na lang imong files daan.... hehehe......

try daw delete in safe mode or use unlocker na software
