Let me share to you guys on how to make a simple koi pond. This is a low cost mini koi pond.
Im sharing this so that people who have a tight budget like me can still enjoy this wonderful hobby. . .

day1(AM)- dug about 1.5 ft.
day 1(PM)- day 2(PM) - construction of the pond and filter chambers

after 1 week. . its time for testing

after a week i released my first batch of kois in their new home. .
Now, allow mo to share my filtration setup, this is also a low cost filtration setup. No need to buy expensive Mats and UV sterilizers.
1st chamber is composed of mosquito net(mosquitiro), orchid net and fiber wool. this is good for mechanical filtration
2nd chamber is composed of chopped electrical hose, pebbles, rubber matting and plants for biological filtration.

the plant is a very effective filter media. . just take a look at the roots up close.
