    Question memory question (cl4, cl5 and cl6)


    im selling my Xtreem Dark 2GB(1GBX2) Dual Channel Kit PC1066mhz CL5 coz i wanna buy a new 20/30-gallon tank for my turtle. pero just incase mausab ako huna2 and mag decide ko na mag upgrade, asa ani ang ako dapat paliton(pinobre ra tawon ko na mems) and why?

    that will only apply sa frequency/clock speed, pero kung latency na ang gi istoryahan..opposite..the lower the number the faster the speed.

    1066 CL5 ~ 800 CL4 > 1066 CL6

    + 1 der fuhrer.

    latency is delay and the shorter the delay is, the more data it can move which is why der fuhrer added a ~ on the 1066 on CAS5 and 800 with CAS4 because the faster response of the DDR2-800 compensates for the less data it can move.

    hehe ako lng gi confirm ako nabasa na ang 800 na cl4 k mas pas2 sa cl5 na 1066 pag pang gaming.. tnx!

    but if u can get 1066 at cl5, that's already a win-win for u...

    CL means cache latency.... the lower the better.... u got it the other way around man...

    this is the most direct answer and by no means, it NOT is wrong. the slight delay on CAS5 from the 800 is worth it, not to mention that you have 533MHz of overclocking headroom.
