PLDT Router Problems

Greetings,

PLDT just upgraded my node to the IP-dslam node, however, I'm experiencing a few problems with my ASUS RX3041 Router in which it would take a long time to connect. It usally takes 5-10 mins at a time just to browse the internet. Moreover, after 2 mins of browsining my internet cuts up and I would have to renew/release or disconnect the power of the ASUS RX3041 router in order to get my IP.

On the other hand, I don't experience any problems with my ZyXEL Prestige 600 modem when connected directly to the computer.

Any thoughts or ideas on how to fix this problem?

Can you check if you have a WAN Port Speed settings in your router. If yes, lock it down to 10 mbps and observed your connection.

I don't have that option. Well, I just reset my router and did the wizard again. Looks like everything is stable so far *crosses fingers*

Alright, I fixed it. Everything seems to be working again except for a few cuts here and there
