upzz... not very good with networking.. . help pls
if im not mistaken zyxel is a modem router it has its own pppoe so you have to switch it to bridge mode or check the ip settings if they are of the same gateway that will cause a conflict, what is the model of your router?
how to bridge? thanks i'll post more info....
please provide the specific model of your zyxel modem and your router specific model
first access the set-up page of your zyxel
then that depends on your zyxel model on how to switch it to bridge mode

i think zyxell is a modem/router and you connect another router to it so there is conflict, usually you have to set it to bridge mode (modem) and have the router set to PPPoE or try to check the default gateway of ur pc when it is connected to the modem and when it is connected to the router if they are the same you have to either change it or yun na nga set the modem to bridge mode
Follow up Question mga Bros
if zyxel P-600 series is a modem/router. Do i really need to by a router or switch will do? I just bought DLINK SWITCH DES-1008D and I can't connect/share internet connection to others computers. It only allows one, my understanding with zyxel unit of PLDT is that it's configured as DHCP already. Any thought about this?
