does a DVD rewriter eats up a lot of power? i'm only using a PSU that came with case which is 500W. and i only have 1 HDD installed in it which is a SATA as well. and i'm only using the mobo's integrated video. do i need to change PSU?
try to reset your BIOS settings first.
also hook up the DVD to a different power cable.
cable could also be causing a short.
try using another PSU,
not all Generic PSUs are really 500W.
lol... even a 300W PSU should be able to eject that DVD w/o straining with his current setup.
mind you, it can happen bro...
possibility also na grounded..
kanus-a mani hitabo? during reading/writing and ejecting? wat other things imo gibuhat taht time it shut off?
well then it's either a defective PSU or there's a short circuit somewhere.
try that DVD on another computer
or borrow another CD-DVD drive and connect it to your computer.
