    Default Unsaon pag reset sa built-in hdd password?


    Mga masters I need your help..Na koy amigo nga gipadalhan ug laptop nga toshiba satelite L305D-S593..
    Ang problema karon kay dili man modagan ky right after inig on, mo prompt man ug message nga "Input built-in hdd password" wla man sila kabalo ana. ang naghatag sad, nkalimot sa password. unsaon pag reset ana mga masters? Makasulod raman ko sa bios nya ma reset nko ang user password ra. nya nka disable man did2 ang
    built-in hdd password reset. Gisuwayan sad nkog "Load setup defaults" sa bios pero mao man gihapon. Ang suggestion sa akong supervisor nga ablihan daw nya i reset ang bios pero mas nindot man sad gud ang daghang suggestions. Please I need your help!

    you need to contact the manufacturer to remove the hard drive password, else, buy another hard drive.

    the password protects your data from most forms of theft... mao nay design ana. i dont think it can be disabled or reset in the bios... the hdd's firmware needs to be wiped or some fancy hdd firmware reprogramming needs to be done.

    IMHO... you need a new hdd if your friend doesnt have the password.

    Dili na mareset but madisable. Still, in both cases you need to have the current password.

    naay reset for HDD password, only the manufacturer has it. we do this for our customers (Dell) and if the password doesn't reset with the given codes, we replace the hard drive.

    You can disable it using software that you have to buy. HDD Unlock - Overview ... I've unlocked a hard drive with this tool before. Check if your HD is supported.
