What should I do if he keeps on calling me hon instead of baby? =(

we've been in this relationship like almost 3 mos now. i know, its still starting out but the thing is, he keeps on calling me "hon" instead of baby. it really pisses me off! he has this close friend of him, and they call each other "hon".. long before we've started, they already call each other that way. they have thousands of pictures together and etc etc.. we've just had this big fight recently coz of the "hon" instead of the "baby".. i told him that we should stop this coz i don't like it when that hon thing happens. he didn't agree. he told me they were just friends and etc etc.. that i was the one that he likes, not that other girl coz if he liked her, he shouldn't be courting me blah blah..

also, that time, i asked him why he keeps on slipping his tongue about that hon thing, is it because he thinks of her always.. and he said, no. he just told me that he didn't know why he keeps on doing that.. and a minute after he told me, "naa man sad nai history ang hon ghud (and he's talking about his ex that he fell in love with before)..nya mao pajud na amo tawag ni gem (the NEW hon girl)" . i told him that "if wala pa ka ka get over niya, adto lang niya. if love pa nimo xa, adto lang niya. dili man tika pugson.." and then he told me that he already have gotten over her..

i really am confused on this.. what should i do? we already did a talk on this but im not convinced..

You've made your point already re: term of endearment. Why not suggest that you be called by your first name? I think he should consider your feelings. If he doesn't, well, you know what to do.
