Overclocking Phenom II

ok, a friend of mine asked me how would a phenom II do when overclocked..

i should be free within the next few days so i'll start with 3.375Ghz. Those of you na interested to join and share some results, please feel free to do so...
this project may change specs from time to time as i will be changing mobo every now and then..
within the next few days, will do some rigorous OC project. unfortunately, AX78 is an old mobo not really designed for Phenom II, but ako i try japun to max this out..

1st Attempt:
- no other adjustment, everything else set to default and auto just to check "resistance" of the motherboard and just raised Bus Speed from 200 to 225

MOBO: Abit AX78 AMD770/SB600 chipsets
Procie: Phenom II 940 3.0
Mems: Kingston HyperX DDR2 1066

running for almost an hour now, i guess stable na ni. but im going back to stock after this for the ff reasons:

1. stock cooler
2. 53decC is already too hot for me
3. setting the multi to 18 and above shuts down CnQ. id rather have it on for cpu mtbf, power saving and stuff like that.

ill play with it again when i get my hands on a decent HSF. id settle cguro for x17.5 then play with the fsb. that way i can squeeze more performance out of this chip and have CnQ too.

bro, if u do manual sa Bus Speed, vcore or anything else, it shuts off CnQ automatically. hehehe..

im getting stupid lately, AMD dont use FSB..

unfortunately, ang akoang AX78, after updating ang BIOS to support Phenom II wala na siyay field of multiplier change.

try lng japun nako, ngita-an ug paagi, hehehe..
