    Default 1080p vs 720p rips?

Anything that will justify the more than 4GB difference?

If you talk about ripping your legally owned BD for backup reason, it will make a difference only when watching on a big TV or with a projector. i watch sometimes BD in 720p in my home theater, which has a projector and a 12' screen, and it still looks very good. 1080p gives me a little more details, better shadows, but overall, when watching a movie, I concentrate on the movie, on the action, not much on the details after a while. So for me, 720p is enough, but thats just me.
