I don't know where this post belong kay wala may electronics/appliance section, di man pud ni pwedi gadget section.

I'm planning to buy new LCD TV with a budget of 24k for 32" LCD TV.

1st choice nako is this JVC LCD TV, I don't know if what model ni.

If wala na then walay lain ma fit sa akong budget, mo downgrade nalang siguro ko ug Ovation ani.

My question is like this is this video true? co'z im confused with the 720p and 1080i, if my LCD can display 1080i maka display pud ug 720p? Sorry to ask noob lang ko.

the video is self explainatory. different numbers has been explained as simple as possible...

about sa imo question if ang lcd with 1080i pwede ba maka display 720p? i guess depende if its supported since interlaced and progressive are not the same.

After few hours of surfing the net, I finally DECIDE to go for Ovation, yes its cheap brand but im convince with this sample pics and reviews.

Here are some of Hands On Pix using OVATION 32"

VGA at NATIVE RESOLUTION: very viewable... should adjust contrast



Viewing Angle: Taken from a diagonal position NOTE: even sideways, the Ovation 32" does well... with no color loss



HDMI: desktop view... very nice indeed but this is not advisable as for pc use... i dont know but it seems that it can go to 19xx by 1080 but the screen becomes kinda stretched, probably usable to some... or maybe the ovation cant handle this kind of resolution afterall..



HDMI PC GAME: this one can play the real HDMI reso of 19xx by 1080 as shown



HDMI PS3: as you can see, it is 1080p ready, 1080i ready... (i havent checked the other reso as this would play pointless...)



HDMI PS3 Gameplay: Tested and approved... fast play, good colors (sorry for the pic, as it seemed washed out by the cams flash



Overall: versatile, i think pwede ang setup na PC+HDMI (PS3) .... but im having trouble using it as a TV kapag may PC nang kasama... power problems maybe?

pagdating sa movies: wala naman talaga ako masabi, wala akong makitang ghosting sa reso na 1080p using standard Divx files... nakapagplay ako ng FF:adventchildren downloaded lang 720p... it renders well naman.. pero out of league ako when it comes to Blurays...

These are just proof that this TV performs well... a little adjust sa mga reso, brightness.. and your on your way
