I never bought another Fraulein after I got Pocco because her shoulders kept falling. I thought I got a bad copy until Greg The Bunny (a flickr contact of mine) and countless others experienced the same thing - not just with Pocco but with other first generation Frauleins (even Black Lagoon Revy which I think wasn't branded as a Fraulein).
Kaiyodo released some more Frauleins and while I was mildly interested (didn't buy) in Yoko, I was more interested in the upcoming Reina and Ekidna (
Revoltech Expo 2008 | Neko Magic: Anime & Figures). I was still a little worried about their joints being loose though but I'd still buy them because of their sheer size, este, sexiness.
Last night, while bargain hunting at Hobby Link Japan, I saw a Hoshii Miki for sale. I saw this toy a while back and was attracted to its articulation and balanced cuteness/sexiness but didn't buy it because in my mind it had the aforementioned joint problem. But I Googled for a review anyway and found this blog:
Fräulein Revoltech The Inferno Project which says that Kaiyodo has fixed the joint problems.
So, I ordered Hoshii Miki today and I hope not to be disappointed when I receive her next month. Will let everybody know if Kaiyodo has indeed 'fixed' the problem by then.
What's your experience with Frauleins?
