Default did i fix the problem?

mga bro, i need expert's opinion here because i have limited knowledge on pc stuffs. btw, i learned some of them by reading the threads. this forum helps me a lot. thanks.

my home pc will automatically turn off after few minutes of playing. so i did try to figure out what is the problem.

..my cpu is Intel Celeron D 341 2.93 GHz pero ang madetect sa bios when i turn my computer on is only 1.8 GHz nya naay errors nga Intel CPU uCode loading error, Overclocking Failed, CPU Thermal Control Error(somthing like that). pag check nako sa akong cpu temp niabot ug 104 degrees Celsius. ako gi uninstall ang CPU fan then install it again. pag check nako usab, the CPU Temp is 55-57 degrees Celsius.

my question is, have i done the right thing? what is supposed to be the normal CPU Temp?

i would appreciate your answers mga bro. thanks.

Have you tried checking the temperatures after running something to stress the CPU?
Also, what's the current CPU reading you get when you turn on the computer?

Actually its not normal, its just average... wit wiw! as long as the temp is stable, you have nothing to worry about.

try reading the spec of your processor about the heat temp. 104c is to much... your lucky your processor is still woking fine. cause it could've fry your processor man... are you into overclocking? cause it seems like you burning your processor. try having a better cooling system if your into overclocking. and by the way try updating the firmware of your bios.

so far you seemed to fix the problem and somehow you did do the right thing.
