i just found out about this today

, after installing my Dark Knight cooler. pag homan install ako reset ang CMOS, then changed the fsb(300x10) para ma overclock. pag check nako sa CPU-Z, ako multiplier was down to x6, nya ako core speed was only 1.8ghz instead of 3ghz

. so i did some reading sa [H] forums, and it was there where i read about unsa ang speedstep hehehe... for those kato wala kahibaw, speed step will constantly change the multipiler to manage heat and power consumption, if you are overclocking turn it off to stress test your pc, you don't want it on. You can turn it back on after you are sure your oc is stable. as for me, im leaving it on for now to save some energy/power, with it On, my pc idles at 38-40 degrees, kung Off 40-44 degrees.
so do you guys leave it On or Off? mo balik ra man sa original OC ang pc kung stressed or mag gaming ka, nya mo lower down imo multiplier if mag idle imo pc.
