intel has core multiplexing technology to counter reverse ht....![]()
let's just wait for the real world bench's of these two proc =)
to think of it hyper threading really isn't that huge a boost in speeds of Intel processors.
So the solution is AMDs RHT where the CPU automatically divides thread in its cpu hardware where and the software treats the CPU as a single thread.
AMD uses Multicore processors combined into one to boost speeds.Â*

intel's response to rht....
Intels new Mulithreaded technology is basically still a hyper threading technology.
This really an exciting stuff cant wait for these processors to come out.
This is actually the reverse of HyperThreading Technology from Intel (HT).
In lay mans term:
Intel HT - 1 processor acting as 2.
AMD RHT - 2 processor or more acting as 1.
The idea is quite promising indeed. Let us wait and see if AMD's claim is true.
core multiplexing is different from hyperthreading...
2 cores functioning as 1.
4 cores functioning as 2.
The nice thing here is that all the socket AM2 will be outfitted with RHT.
cant wait of the benchmark of this two....
