Maayo bitaw cguro nga tangtangon nang ilang mga gi koral-koral diha sa mga beaches and leave nature alone nga mo banlas/mohugas sa balas diha sa mga beaches diha sa Mactan. Pagtoo god anang mga tag-iya ug resort diha, sila tag-iya sa balas.

Pero adto ka sa ubang Asian countries, gidili na kay makadaut na sa ecological balance sa beaches. Nakabasa ko kausa ug ebook about coastal management dili palang dugay ug naka-ingon ko nga panahon na nga ibalik sa nature ang mga beaches. Mas maayo nga maka suroy suroy ang mga tawo sa beaches of their "entire lenght" nga walay magpugong nila nga koral sa pikas resort.

In fact kana gani rong gibuhat sa mga resort owners diha sa Lapulapu mao usab ang gi-Kopya diha sa ubang beaches diha sa south. Usa ana ang Moalboal which several years back has one of the finest beaches Cebu ever had but was denied of its natural beauty tungod sa kahangol sa mga resort owners. Gikoral koral sad pareho sa Mactan.

^^Yah! i agree..Putting fences looks bad on the beaches' beauty! I mean, look at Boracay and Hawaii (never been there, but i saw on the movies and pix), wa juy barrier!!..you can go walk through and enjoy the seashore without being halted by some fence..

the fences (let alone, the ugly structure..galain-lain pa jud ug style?!?!) are just sore to our sights!?!?

Ang white sands sa TUNGO BEACH kinsay kahinumdom? nka ad2 ko bag.o lng sus gi ahak nlang HUGAW pa sa tulay.

if u take out the fences.. high end resorts like shangrila will suddenly have lots of people from the neighboring public beaches... haha...

Nice idea.. pero not good for certain businesses. Pabor ko sa idea.. kahibaw lang ko di ni mahitabo anytime soon.

kanang koral, naa ra unta nay limit asa kutob from the shoreline...if its due to security reasons, pabutangan ra na ug gwardiya, not over-extended fences that violates the local ordinance.

if we confuse fences with "pasil", lahi sab na ug istorya. ang pasil pugong na sa sand erosion.

i just dunno if Mactan has its own local ordinance that states similarly like this:

"Based on a zoning ordinance, structures must be built 30 meters from the shoreline."

if im not mistaken, fences are part of a structure...

I think this would be a good idea. Look at Boracay and most beaches in the world.
