getting back w an ex is never gonna be a good or a bad thing.. would always depend on the person deciding on what to do... it is never gonna be others decision or what others think..it would always boils down to. ARE WE HAPPY W THE DECISIONS WE MADE?... always think bout the fact that knowing the thought of getting back togther is there .. should be something... and not just nothing

It all depends on the magnitude of our feelings and the situation that you find yourself in.
In My Own Opinion.. I would not, I believe there are more fish out there and I won't ponder on a specific fish I once caught that got away.
The striking question here is: Why would you consider him again after what he has done? (coz you said he lied to you before and I'm guessing that is why you broke up)
If you really do have feelings for him, strong enough for you to ignore the fact of the past and take that risk to engage yourself with him in that situation again then it is your choice.
Sometimes (very rarely) Men do change and learn from their mistakes. So, it is up to you to judge. If he is in this for real now or is this just another spike of crazy infatuation..
