does an agp card delivers the same performance when it put on the pci slot?In terms of gaming?Does it affect total system stability?

As far as I know, agp cards only fit on agp slots, you cant put them on any other slot. Your only choice is to put in a pci card or replace your motherboard.

turns out there is an adaptor. but I read its slow as hell.

PCI bus speed is way too limited/slow that is why they created AGP slot. so putting a AGP card on a adapter and inserting it into a PCI slot will surely be very very slow...
