Possible reason is ang firmware nga imo i upload is dili compatible sa router.

Dis-a man nimu gipalit ang router? Kay dili pareha ang firmware sa USA, Europe, Asia etc maski pareha ug model number.

Kung sa USA or sa Asia nimu ni napalit mo adto ka sa website sa country then adto ka mo kuha ug firmware sa imong router.

If you know typically about routers they have different revision to a different country.

Maybe the supplier of your Linksys router is came from USA. It could be uploaded to your Linksys router using another country revision same model number but it is not advisable using another country's firmware revision though same model.

If you want lets try and I can prove it to you that your wrong. I will upload a firmware in your router same model but we will use the firmware revision which can be found in Middle East country.

Let's see if your router will not be fried up.

Its easy to say "Sayop ni" but I can prove it to you bro.

    I will dare you now.

Enable the remote management of your router and give me the WAN IP address of your router.

    Just PM me.

no offense but, are you assuming the threadstarter is downloading firmware from europe? is that the reason why he can't move his old firmware?...

    Sorry for the words, though

Your probably chatting to one of my colleagues ei. lol

I read your proof bro. We can still reflash your old firmware if your on DD-WRT. Now accept my dare to you. I will get the Middle East firmware same model of your router and upload it to your router.

Since my colleagues confirm it to you that it is the same and safe, accept my dare to you bro.

About your pic that sent thru PM you ain't look good actually. I send mine and compare it.

give me proof of you're saying.... that for example europe firmwares can brick asian routers. haha... but before doing that, lemme first inspect the file, the router model and version number.

coz you might use the wrong version, that has lead you to generalize the problem. lolz

I can accept if its my defeat. Im not any other someone there who pretends to know everything in this world... ^_^

but your majesty, if example his wrt54g is version 1 and u'll be downloading the firmware for version 1.1 then of course it will break.... lolz
