Mga tol unsa man ni ang PCXPRESS nga mopatong man basta credit ang imo paliton? OK ba ni? Naka attend man gud ko ug seminar sa DTI, unya ingon nila dili daw ni allowed karon ang pagpatong ug price basta credit card. Dili lang ako mao nakabantay ana pag-seminar. Daghan man gud mi didto nakasuway ug palit sa PC XPRESS nga credit, that's why nga na-open na nga topic. Unya maayo ra sila motagad nimo kung mopalit ka. Apan kung mag-paayo ka na sa unit nga with warranty hinay man ang ila serbisyo?

actually mas ganahan ko ana nga style nga mu ingon sila nga naa patong if e credit card compared to cash. kai kung mu palit ka ug cash, mas barato man. They can always jack up the price just to adhere to what DTI mandated to absorb the credit card charges.

Sample:
if Gemini S2 cooler costs Php 2,100 if bought cash
if bought with a credit card, plus 4%, price will be php 2,184

To follow DTI rules, stores could simply say that the retail price is Php 2,184 whether you buy it through cash or card.

and if I were the store, I will price it Php 2,199. Its all about marketing!

This is about protecting store profits, and store profits means better Tax collection by the BIR!

i think it would also be possible baya nga they can price the item at the credit card price as the regular price then the cash discount for cash purchases. at least they aren't "adding" the illegal add-on. and it would encourage people to pay by cash and not card.
and just in case ilang himnuon ang base price sa card also sa cash purchases ... then other stores would be more viable nga choice. the beauty of competition. ang ako lang ... its the law man gud. and i think that's the issue here. =) just my two cents worth ...

@ elpropesor, good thinking bro, nice thinking on the discount. So lets make it 5% increase for the retail price so that customers will have 5% discount (kai if 4%, bitin hehehe) on cash purchases.

wala mana patong check sa ila website diba SRP ang isa ka price which is same ra if CC imo gamiton pero if imo e cash pwede ka maka avail og 5% discount from the srp price 2 mana ila pricelist discounted price and regular price....... try check sa ila website

sakto bro. wala sila patong sa CC pero kung cash then muhatag sila 6% discount in this way wala sila ni violate sa rules sa DTI.

mohatag sila ug promo price nimo kung cash... if you go to their site, you can download two pricelists... one is the SRP and the other is the Promo... the SRP is the regular price... kung credit card imong gamiton ug bayad... the Promo is the discounted price nga ilang mahatag nimo kung cash imong ibayad...
