Need help in buying new PC in Cebu

It's my first post here. Pero dugay nako sige basa sa forums diri. I'm planning to buy a new PC by the end of the year or maybe early next year.

First choice ko mupalit sa Cebu. Im from Mindanao btw but traveling to Cebu wont be a problem I've been there countless times.

I need help kung asa nindot i palit ug mga parts sa PC. I'm planning to buy a mid-range to high-end gaming machine. Siguro ako budget is 40k more or less. For CPU lang na. Wala na mga Monitors, DVD writers kay naa nako ana sa old PC.

So guys asa man nindot i palit ug parts na kanang available inig anha nako dira and barato. So far sa ako nakita na mga pricelist ang PC express cebu ang daghan baligya pero medyo taas ang prices nila. Asa inyo ma recommend?

And also makasuya kaayo mo ug rigs. Im planning also na ako lang maghimo sa ako own CPU with your help. Is it better na ako mismo mag assemble sa CPU or ang shop nalang mag assemble? Naa pa ba na suldahon or pansak pansak na lang na?

Nakalimot ko butang ako diay gamiton ang PC para pang games na FPS, RTS, and especially MMOs.

40k bro? I'd consider that high-end already. I think PCX has the lowest price although some stores offer lower but majority of the parts are priced low at PCX.

Okay thanks. So 40k is high end na diay na. Ahaha. Last time man gud i spent 35k on my old pc pero na outdated na siya in 2 years time. Nasayop ko ato.

What about pc quickbuys sa SM. Ok ba mga parts didto? Last time I went to there nangutana ko ingon sila i-order pa man daw within 7 days pa muabot.

So the parts are readily available sa PCX Cebu. Unsa inyo ma suggest ipa assemble nako daan didto? Or ako na lang? Dali ra ba na siya mag assemble?

Murag paranoid man ko ani gud kay uban man gud PC shop ilaha ilisan ang mga parts to non-branded and paghatag sa imo kung ignorante ka bahin sa computer dawat lang pud ka diritso.

well there are some parts na wala sa ila shop and are ordered from their suppliers. it may take a week and depende pud if naa ang stock. better as early as now you know what specific parts you want aron when the time comes di na lisod. wla diay available localy dha sa davao? anyway if preferred jud nmo ang cebu naay daghan pc shops to chose from. maybe one or a couple of the istorians here can show you around and help you in building your rig. =)

Go with PCX na lang boss. They have the widest selection of parts man gud. Pero I think you should also consider mil's suggestion:

BTW.....40K is a very HUGE Budget. If I had thatmuch money I could already buy two C2D System units.

Naa ko kaila bro supplier sad na sya, pero ang naka ayo ana kay barato ra ug pwede pa gyud ma hangyo basta naa rata ma compare nga price sa items nga paliton nimo.

Pero kung ako pa but-on 40K is to much na pero matod sa imong gi-post gamiton man kaha na nimo ug server sa Online Game Server, aw mas mayo kay preferred gyud ang PC na High-Specs gyud.

No im playing online games right now. Ganahan unta ko na high settings ang game. Im waiting for an online game to be released and honestly un ang reason kung bakit ako bibili ng bago.

And dili man gud ko taga Davao. Naa man baligya diri pero sa ako predictions in 1 or 2 years time phased out na siya. Nasa probinsya lang ako pero certified gaming adik.

Nahan unta ko SLI-ready maskin 1 lang sa ka gcard ako paliton na nindot. And naa nako listahan sa ako paliton hopefully muobos ang presyo later this year.

May i add do i really need katong mga cooling systems sa CPU? kay fan ra man gud ako gamit hehe.

And what do you mean by C2D units? hehe

bro naa me baligya ana. add lng ko sa yahoo apc_three or pm lng diri. mas ok if add ko nimu sa yahoo para ma pm tika sa mga latest products namu diri. we have SLIs. crossfire. corsairs. )

And what do you mean by C2D units? hehe

you can buy coolers if you're into overclocking but if you don't, i think the stock hsf would do na. also, i don't think you need a very powerful computer for online games, specially the common online games nga uso diri.

i think daghan diha sa davao mga enthusiast parts pud but if you prefer cebu then PCX lang ang medyo daghan og choices.

and if your going to invest on a computer then it is by all means normal that your system now will always be outdated in 2 years time.
