Default Did OSCAR DELA HOYA throw the fight?

I wanted so much for Pacquiao to win. But I was very very disappointed at Dela Hoya's performance.

I know that even if Oscar fought all his best, Manny would still own him. But that was almost a freak show. Bad acting performance. It was so obvious that it was already an insult to Manny!

I have never seen even the weakest fighter when being cornered and not even at least attempting to fight back then being able to escape then VOLUNTARILY GOES BACK TO THE CORNER. That was the dumbest staged fight I've ever seen.

His body language was clearly showing he wanted Manny to throw a clear blow to get him knocked down. He was getting ready to fall down.

Did Pacquiao know about all this? I don't think so. They didn't have to do that. Manny could still have beaten Oscar even if he gave all his best. If he was scared of Manny then he shouldn't have called the fight in the first place.

    BUT...

now that Pacquiao won against him, the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight would make double the money and make Oscar Dela Hoya much much richer!

Oscar DLH carelessly revealed the true colors of the world of boxing.

if that fight was staged, oscar wont look that bad.

i think karon raka naka kita og boxing bro if i base sa imong mga statements. its easily said than done and its hard to think when youre hurt. pero i still cannot question oscar's heart. though he quit after the 7th, he still extended it for a round even though his team is advising him to quit.

i don't think oscar throw that fight. he was just overwhelmed by manny's speed.. he's old and slow...

i agree..i dont think oscar threw that fight away. he's a boxing legend already. it would have tarnished everything that he has achieved in his career if he threw that fight away. i think it had more to do with him coimng down to 147 lbs...similar to what happened with morales. the moment i saw dela hoya in orund 1, i already commented that he really looked lanky compared to the well-built and sculpted body of pacquiao. i think that cost ODLH his stamina and his punching power. add to that, manny's speed, oscar was too busy defending the lightning jabs of pacquiao which negated his height advantage. if you noticed, during the early rounds, oscar was at the center of the ring while pacquiao was dancing around, darting in and out. but sa later rounds, it was already manny who was at the center, running and pinning oscar to the ropes. oscar was just too tired na to do anything.

well, that;s just my two cents on the fight. but tinuod nuon, the fight was too boring.
