slow motion when playing a music

I was playing a song using winamp, then i noticed a heart beat sound in between the songs and then it suddenly played in a slow motion phase then back to its normal playing speed. Could this be a hdd problem? Is there any way i can eliminate this disturbing thing?
Also, when i watch movie with power dvd the same problem occurs.

1. it may be a spyware/virus that eating your cpu usage a lot. thats why your have a slow
running winamp and some other program.

run a anti spyware on your system.it might work

2. to many open programs on your system, close what you dont used

I havent tried the spyware part. But, 1 thing is sure right now. Its only my winamp who's running in my pc but still the same problems occur.

Ctrl+Alt+Del ,nya tan-awa imo Windows Task Manager kun unsa mga program nag-dagan unya checka imo cpu ug memory tingali na-a mga program nga naggamit sa imo resources. specs di-ay sa imo pc...procsr ug memry..

AMD sempron 2600
msi k7n2 delta2 mobo
384 ddr ram(128 and 256)

i'm sure you have a lot of running programs including spywares while running multimedia.
