I just had this connection from pldt (finally AFTER 2 MOS), first sa laptop nako gitaod, it was running perfectly fine. Then ako gitaod na sa PC. checked speed okay ra man, sa speedtest.net. the problem is if mutry ko ug download, dili cya kadownload either by using IE7 or MFF. I already tried to remove, reinstall, and fix IE. nothing works.

I already troubleshooted the connection, everything is okay. Kabrowse ra ko ug sites without a problem. mabuak na ako ulo pangita solution ani, try na ko sa mga forums wala gihapon.

btw, if magstream ko ug videos, dili cya muload gihapon. GRRRR!

I think its not a PLDT problem. He said that it works perfectly fine with his laptop.

So the problem would be on the PC? Maybe windows firewall or Antivirus?

Naka try nako ana after reformating my pc, pero i dont want to use IE kay dali ra ma virusan, so gi install nako ang old firefox nako yes di sya maka download ma putol ang download, so what I did is to update my firefox then mao to naka download na sya, and about the streaming you need the Adobe Flash Player plugin mao siguro di maka play.

@ c_cebrecus, dili po prob sa pdlt kay okay ra kaayo sa laptop, and okay ang DL & UL speed sa speedtest.net. the problem is with downloading itself. when you download, wala ka makita nga ET of finish, and walay file size. meaning either gamay ra ka kb iya gidownload in such slow speeds, or wala jud nag DL.

@eryqmb, walay firewall sa pc, there's no need kay ESET ako anti-virus. ako giuninstall then try DL, pero same error gihapon.



@SmaRkieS, updated man ako Mff, same as IE. di kaDL sa 2 ka engines. And naa po ko adobe flash 9.


i know there is a problem somewhere i just do not know where to look kay i already tried every possible step that i know. mao ni pait if tech support ka sa call center. hehehe

hmmmm naa nay past internet connection ang pc nimo before ana? basin naay nag dagan dagan diha sa system nimo, kay sa una naka try ko ug ingon ana di sya maka dowload or mo cutoff ang download niya.

if naa kay xtra hard disk try to re install new XP, then try daw. dali ra bitaw na reinstall mga 30~45mins mana dayon na, bahala wala pay driver sa sound, video, etc. basta naa lay network.

para maka notice dyud ka what's wrong. kay sa sige ka ug configure diha tapos ang ma configure nmo ang modem na diay tapos manga wagtang ang value sa modem fatay.

1. if everything works with your laptop then the problem is not with PLDT.
2. if you have tried every trick in the book then my advice is to have a fresh install of windows xp, reformat your HD, and always have your drivers for your pc to work.
3. i think naay virus imong pc, because before i could also browse the net, pero dugay and dili ko maka download. tpos akong antivirus which is NOD32 kay dili na ga update, so akong gi buhay reformat tanan, then naka download nako.
