PC Hardware warranty time

ngano mostly mga stores karon tag 1 month raman ang replacement warranty? then 1 yr service warranty.

nya kung ma guba daw ang hardware nimo beyond the 1 month period, ang service na ang mo cover, nya kung di daw ma repair wala na daw sila ma buhat ana!. !? ana day na!? mura man og cellphone.

also a friend of mine bought a silverstone psu at a store in SM, mao rasad ang warranty offer, dli na day 3 yrs noh?

Dili na mao bro I think wala ka mag ask jud sa warranty policies sa mga computer stores.

As what DTI Philippines said sa ako pangutana nila any computers or electronics has the standard warranty ug 1 year then it should be replaced if found defective w/in the warranty term.

Usually computer stores mo hatag nag warranty then 1 month AWR mean ILISAN DAYON w/in a month like what inside the CPU: processor, motherboard, memory, hdds, PSU, optical drives, floppy drive,videocards, internal LAN cards, internal modem, soundcards maliban sa mga FANS inside the casing 7 days AWR rana.

Ang 7 days AWR kay ang outside the CPU's like monitors, speaker, printers, external modem/routers etc...

Ang gipasabot nga Service warranty from the vendor kay ibalik na nila sa supplier for repair/checkup if wala na sila ma buhat kay wala na ma ayo, ila na i declare nga sa manufacturer basta naa pa warranty nga damage cannot be repaired ila na i uli didto whatsoever. Then ang vendor advisan sa supplier nga ilisan ug brand new if naay stock, or refurbish or repaired item nga same rana sa imoha nga gi uli.

For instance: 1st: Naa ka motherboard, then na guba then imo gi uli w/in a month from the day of purchased, ila ka tagaan ug advance service warranty sa imo guba nga mobo, else wala na gani stock ila ka ilisan ug lain nga brand etc..or advisan ka nila nga paaboton nimo ang stock w/in a days nga pareho sa imoha or mo deman sila sa supplier ug same model sa imo gi uli..then brand new jud na usually.

2nd, if imo mobo naguba morethan a month from the day of purchased mao na gi tawag ug PULL-OUT kay ila na i uli sa supplier for checkup and repair if ma repair pa...then paaboton kag 1 month for replacement.

So thats what it means sa service warranty nga imo gi pangutana. Dont worry 1 month nga AWR dako na kaayo nag lugway para ma check sa imo item nga maayo jud o dili ba kay naa gani guba i uli jud dayon na ug pahimusli ang 1 month AWR kay di raba lalim pangita ug money para i palit ug maguba lang.

Mao na ako suggestion, kay based sa akong experiences grabe pero na overcome nana nako...Mao nga mas maayo mo palit kag PC parts be sure to avoid ESD- Electro Static Discharge. kay mao na silent killer sa computer and parts. So proper handling is important. If possible ask for a sealed product kay meaning wala na testingi ug wala na gamita fresh from manufacturer.

1 YR rana bro kay alkanse daw cla if mo hatag cla same ug warranty terms sa customer, alkanse kaayo jud ta if ma guba. Unlike sa other country ma avail jud na nila ang 3yrs warranty from manufacturer kay naa mana sila RMA..usually computer stores didto direct seller or mao jud mismo manufacturer nag baligya.

Mao testingi jud imo gi palit 1month AWR or 1 week i check jud imo item ug maayo before its too late. kay lisod pangitaon ang money.

naa baya ka sa pilipinas. lisod pud na i apply ang mga patakaran sa us diri kay pwerti ka daghan ang maro diri sa ato a. ma lugi ang mga insik hehehe
ang mga suppliers kay 2 - 3 yrs gyud ang ihatag nga warranty sa store. ang store kay 1yr ra ang ihatag sa customers. if naa gani moy item nga less than 2 yrs pero more than 1yr na unya na guba, ayaw ninyo ibilin ang deffective item sa tindahan kay pa ilisan na nila sa supplier. hayahay kaayo ang maka kuha ana kay ilisan na og new sa supplier if dili madala nila og repair. plus if silverstone na imong guba unya more than 1 yr na but less than 3yrs pa, try lang ad2 sa fine upgrades kay basin pwedi ka maka claim og warranty did2

um @erwin_rommel dli na from the US mostly ang PC hardware nato diri. also 2-3 3yrs is enough. another thing is "IF" gikan gyud na sa official hardware manufacturer... right... mao gani pinas ni, kibaw naka.

Some stores has it's company policy regarding warranty, regarding on silverstone PSU's 3 years jud among warranty ana, but if more than a year na gani ang imong silverstone PSU from date of purchase then naguba nya dili na mo cover an store sa warranty.you can contact us directly and we will replace your deffective item with new one. just bring the necessary papers required as proof of purchase, mas maayo if naa pod ang box.

the very reason why stores here does not want to extend the manufacturer warranty to their store policy because most people here in the Philippines tend to abuse this benefit. daghan jud diri kusog magpahimulos mao na nga kitang tarong og utok na dili abusado sa warranty maapil na lang pud intawon.
