Nawagtang akong LAN help

can you techie guys help me?
before I used to connect to the internet through my dsl line but lately, cge kog gamit og wifi then i just noticed when i started connecting the dsl wire/cable to my laptop to connect to the internet, dili na bitaw mu detect akong laptop..
my brother said nagwagtang daw ang LAN connection or something sa settings.
does anyone of you know how to restore it back?
your help would be appreciated.

Check device manager bro if nadetect ba gyud imong hardware or kun nadetect check kun wala ba madetect/installed niya iyang driver mailhan mana kung wala mainstalled ang driver or need to update kay mag exclamation mana siya.If wala then install its LAN driver.

whats ur ISP (internet provider) ? did you see any light on ur LAN port when u plug the LAN cable?
Probably u disabled the LAN, check it n ur my network places, if the LAN icon looks like fully gray then it was disabled.

do you have any exclamation marks in device manager? that could be a driver problem...

possible naka disable lang ang lan bro..try check sa network connections under control panel..

sakto si rchyx. Given the OS is Windows XP...
Go to:
Start> Control Panel> Network Connections> (right click) Local Area Connection> choose Enable

ok..try lang ni bro ha..if dell anf imo laptop,,possible nga naka battery ka..kay sometimes apil na siya sa energy saving sa battery,,pag naka battery ang laptop naa options na i disable niya ang lan port para save sa power..try daw na bro if pareha bata,, i plug sa power ang imo laptop
