last saturday i went to this commdap event in sm, I checked out the two game sattions in FU booth.
visually, i could compare the two.
ATi's card showed a much reacher graphics - (was that 3850 x2) than Nvidia's 8800.
Is ati better than Nvidia?

i'd say Nvidia but ATI has just recently release a Nvidia-killer card. From your example though, go for the 8800s.![]()
3850 and 8800 gt? asa mas nindot? price/performance ratio...and ok ba ang 3850 if imo mobo is intel p35? or go nlng jud sa 8800gt?
IMO, based on experience.
ATI - picture / graphics quality
nVidia - performance
yeah, ryan got into some trouble with the ATI setup. mawala ang display sa clone monitor during games pero kung sa desktop ok ra. sa main monitor ra ang naay display during games.
ATI always have the better graphics quality thats a given.
overall nvidia ko! for now cguro..ambot. wa pa ta kbaw unsa mga plano ani nila duha, sakay sakay lang ta nila
3850X2? you mean the 3870X2, ryt? get a 3870X2 against an 8800GT. but an 8800GT against a 3850, the 8800 dominates. a 3850X3 is a different story. XD
nvidia for me.
pero now.. ati is killing nvidia.
thou nvidia will be the first to have a 40nm vcard.
i guess sa setting to sa game mao rmurag brighter ang sa nvidia na side..
